Thank you for visiting the website (“Site”) for Advanced Learning Singapore (“ALS”). This Site is the property of ALS. This Terms of Use (“TOU”) is between you (“You”, “Your”, and “Yours”) and ALS. ALS maintains this website as a service (“Service”) to its clients, learners, staff and members of the public based on the terms and conditions set out below. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this Site. The information and materials provided in this Site may be used for informational purposes only. This TOU agreement, including our Privacy Policy, governs your use of the ALS’s Site. By using, accessing or downloading materials from this Site and using Services of ALS, you are deemed to have accepted these TOU, including our privacy policy as outlined in this legal notice, which apply to all visits to the Site, both now and in the future. If you do not agree to be bound by this TOU, you may not use this Site or any Services in any way. Should the TOU conflict with any other documents, the TOU will prevail for the purposes of usage of the Site. We reserve the right to update or modify these TOU at our sole discretion from time to time and such changes shall take effect on the date that such modified TOU is posted on the Site. The continued use of this Site or Services after modification to the TOU constitutes acceptance of all changes.

Written permission must be obtained from ALS for using, copying, reproduction or redistribution of ALS logo. All software and/or documentation made available on this Site for downloading is the copyrighted work of ALS or its partners, consultants, trainers, guest speakers and/or its content or service providers. Ownership of such software and documentation belongs to the copyright holder and are non-transferable. Nothing contained on the Site and/or in these terms should be construed as granting, by implication or otherwise, any license or right to use any trademark, servicemark, design right or copyright of ALS or its partners, consultants, trainers, guest speakers and/or its content suppliers. None of the content may be copied, distributed, entered into a database, displayed, performed, re-transmitted, disseminated, reproduced, transferred, sold, published, broadcasted, circulated or exploitation of the Site whether in whole or in part in any format; and are for learners’ personal, educational and non-commercial use only; unless with the express prior written permission from authorised personnel of ALS or the otherwise applicable rights holder. ALS is not responsible for any errors or omissions, or for the results obtained or consequences arising from the use of any of the Contents, or for the authenticity or integrity of any transactions or communications made through this Site. Except as may be expressly stated on this Site, neither ALS nor any of its officers, directors, shareholders, staff or other authorised representatives shall be liable for any damages arising out of or in connection with the use of performance of this Site, or the information of contents available from this Site. Neither ALS or any of its officers, directors, shareholders, staff or other authorised representatives shall be liable for any damage or loss of any kind caused as a result (direct or indirect) of the use of this Site, including but not limited to any damage or loss suffered as a result of reliance on the Contents contained in or available from the Site. The contents of this Site could include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Changes are periodically added to the contents of this Site. Further, ALS and its directors, officers, staff, partners, consultants, trainers, guest speakers and/or content or service providers shall not be liable for damages, losses, injuries, claims, actions, costs and/or expenses of any kind arising from its failure or delay in performing any or all of its obligations under these TOU if such failure or delay is due to circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control including but not limited to the outbreak of war, any governmental act, explosion, accident, civil commotion, riot, industrial dispute, strike, lockout, stoppages or restraint of labour from whatever cause, whether partial or general, weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical breakdown, obstruction of any public or private road or highway or any other force majeure, fire, flood or any other act of God. We also do not assume any liability for harassing, offensive, defamatory or obscene material distributed through ALS and its partners, consultants, trainers, guest speakers and/or content or service providers, nor do we assume liability for information which may be in violation of the third party’s intellectual property or other rights.
You hereby agree to indemnify ALS and hold ALS harmless from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and expenses on a full indemnity basis) made against or suffered or incurred by ALS arising directly or indirectly out of your access to or use of this site; or your breach of any of these terms and conditions of use. The said exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law. None of your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited are affected.
Notwithstanding our efforts to ensure that our system is secure, you acknowledge that all electronic data transfers are potentially susceptible to interception by others. We cannot, and do not, warrant that data transfers pursuant to this Site, or electronic mail transmitted to and from us, will not be monitored or read by others.
Variation
ALS reserves the right to make changes and modifications, at any time without prior notice, to the information and the Site, its Services and its contents and its materials, including changes and corrections to this TOU Agreement. This TOU Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws to the Republic of Singapore, and any claims or disputes of whatever nature shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Singapore.
