In business, correct English grammar is essential in communicating effectively, in both speech and writing. This Better Grammar for Business course highlights the common writing errors that are often found in emails and other business communication documents (i.e. business letters, business reports).
At the end of the training, you will appreciate the correct rules and practices that will make your writing professional and clear.
Writing is a skill, and like any skill, one has to practice. Learners are encouraged to advance the skills and knowledge acquired from this course with other related courses, such as Writing Better Emails and Editing and Proofreading Skills to write your way to success.

Florence is a highly experienced adult educator. For more than 30 years, she has been training business writing skills in both the private and public sectors. She is also a certified workplace literacy trainer.
For learning to be effective, Florence believes firmly in designing programmes that are tailored to the specific needs of the learners. So, what learners learn should be applicable to their work.
She has since designed in-house writing programmes for several clients that include government agencies and private companies, some of which are customised with pre-course assessments and post-course coaching.
Florence holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature. Professionally, she holds a Diploma in Translation and Interpretation and Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).
In 2014, Florence received the Associate Excellence Award from the Civil Service College where she is an Associate Trainer.
