Writing Better Emails Course Overview

This course is created, owned, and trained by its original creator,  Ms. Florence Au. Learn from the original creator.

Every day, tons of emails are sent and received in many workplaces.  However, many writers are unaware that there are techniques in writing email more effectively, and that there are certain professional standards for handling emails.  This course shows writers how to achieve the 7 C’s in writing business emails. It also offers tips on improving email etiquette that will make them more considerate and courteous writers.

Writing is a skill, and like any skill, one has to practice. Learners are encouraged to advance the skills and knowledge acquired from this course with other related courses, such as Better Grammar for Business and Editing and Proofreading Skills to write your way to success.

At the end of the course, learners are able to:

  • write more effective emails that are clear, concise, precise and grammatically correct.
  • have a better understanding of the importance of email etiquette

This course is for anyone who wants to write emails more effectively and efficiently at the workplace.

Learners are guided through practical steps of the topic with a combination of lectures, online quizzes, motivational game, activity cards, short writing and editing exercises, analysis of case examples and small group discussions.
