2-Day Power BI Desktop Series 2 - Advanced DAX Formulas Course (Exclusive Course)

Course Overview

This course is created, owned, and trained by its original creator,  Mr. Alaster Leong. Learn from the original creator.

Users who want to take their Power BI skills to the next level or grasp Power BI at its full potential should master Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). In this hands-on, project-based course, you’ll put your DAX skills to the test and apply what you learn to some of the real-world business intelligence use cases.

This course is intended to build on the fundamentals taught in “Power BI Series 1 – Data Model, DAX, and Dashboard Visualization” Course. This course covers advanced and difficult to comprehend DAX concepts such as evaluation context, iterator functions, advanced Time Intelligence functions, etc.

During this course, we will be using back the same project database you have built in Power BI Desktop Series 1 course so that you will be familiar with it.

This Power BI Desktop Series 2 – Advanced DAX Formulas course will focus on DAX formulas rather than visualization. Table, Matrix and Slicer will be the only visualization tools used in this course.

Please note that this is the second (Series 2) of two series courses for Power BI Desktop:

  1. Power BI Desktop Series 1 – Data Model, DAX & Dashboard Visualization
  2. Power BI Desktop Series 2 – Advanced DAX Formulas

Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Comment the codes
  • Structure and format the codes
  • Use advanced DAX functions
  • Understand when to use those functions
  • Mix and match different DAX functions
  • Apply DAX functions in the real world
