Many of us write emails at work. However, can every writer write effectively and professionally? To address this challenge, this one-day course gives you the guidelines you need to make each of your emails readable, clear and concise. It also provides effective tips on improving email etiquette to make you a more considerate and courteous writer.

This course will also guide you how to leverage Generative AI for email editing to effectively achieve your purpose and fulfill your readers’ expectations.

Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:

  • write clearly and concisely
  • structure content and monitor style to meet readers’ needs
  • avoid common language errors in emails to ensure clarity and professionalism

This course is for anyone who wants to write emails more effectively and efficiently at the workplace.

Florence is a highly experienced adult educator.  For more than 30 years, she has been training business writing skills in both the private and public sectors.  She is also a certified workplace literacy trainer.

For learning to be effective, Florence believes firmly in designing programmes that are tailored to the specific needs of the learners.  So, what learners learn should be applicable to their work.

She has since designed in-house writing programmes for several clients that include government agencies and private companies, some of which are customised with pre-course assessments and post-course coaching.

Florence holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature.  Professionally, she holds a Diploma in Translation and Interpretation and Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA).

In 2014, Florence received the Associate Excellence Award from the Civil Service College where she is an Associate Trainer.
