1-Day Writing Effective Minutes of Meeting Course
Course Overview
This course is created, owned, and trained by its original creator, Ms. Florence Au. Learn from the original creator.
Taking notes and writing the minutes of a meeting is no longer a task reserved for secretaries or personal assistants only. Any person who attends a meeting may be asked to do so.
As minutes provide an official record of what has taken place during a meeting, the minute-taker needs to know what to record and how to record. Very often minute-takers find this task very challenging.
This course therefore offers the basic knowledge and skills that a novice minute-taker should have in writing effective minutes.
Objectives
Upon completion of the course, learners will be able to:
- Understand how meetings should be conducted.
- Understand there are different types of recordings for meetings.
- Practise the different skills required for writing minutes.
- Use the correct language for the different styles of minutes.
Who Should Attend
This course is for anyone who needs to take notes during briefing or write meeting minutes, or anyone who wishes to improve their meeting minutes writing skills.
